“I don’t know of any other IT company that responds quicker than Progressive Computing.”

For years we have relied on Progressive to monitor our server, do upgrades (at off hours without disruption to the work flow), and handle our service needs. I don’t know of any other IT company that responds quicker than Progressive and that can handle a majority of the needed fixes remotely and usually with an hour or two. When they do need to be on sight they are on-time and reliable.
There is a lot of peace of mind that comes with Progressive.

You get what you pay for and frankly what you are paying for is not just the day to day issues of printers working etc but also the peace of mind knowing that your IT consultant is working to ensure that your office back bone is well connected, secured and working efficiently. Pantheon has used several IT support firms at its UK and US offices, from the cheap to the expensive, and neither extreme worked for us. Progressive offered us a comprehensive service at a competitive price, but not so low that they have to cut corners.  I don’t expect to get experience for free, and in the IT support business experience counts for a lot.  I don’t want to be paying and suffering extended glitches while someone learns on the job. Equally, a pay-by-the-hour model just gave us inflated bills.

“With Progressive we are not clients; we feel like partners in the decision making process.”

They not only fix the everyday problems that come up.  They also monitor our network to make sure everything is working properly and do updates when needed.  But they do that only after informing us it needs to be done and ask if the date and time they’d like to do the work is acceptable to us.  They also tell us how long it will take before we can go back online.  We are always kept updated on what is going on.  They also suggest investing in our network if recurring problems indicate that new hardware or software is needed.  We never feel pressured.  They explain to us what needs to be done and provide a timetable.  We feel we are being included in the process.  We are not clients; we feel like partners in the decision making process.  And that is very important to a non-profit where expenses are sometimes a challenge.

Progressive has been with us here for over 18 years.
